2003

 The Wilderness of Non-relevant books.

Tao Wells Synopsis:

Reflecting on undergraduate work in Fine Arts at Canterbury University and then Masters degree study in Fine Arts at Massey, completed in 2003. I have compared working in multiple disciplines and it’s trials and tribulations. Examining the role of “forgetting’ in both institutions and individuals as forums where the ‘new’ is constructed and consider how key works of mine have sought to address moral and ethical responsibilities, which I believe are intrinsic in the pursuit of institutional relativity. Theorising on the dynamic link between records, and living memory, modes of education that builds on market relativity, I identify the need to actively defend broader ideas of a common good.
